As planned, Kashi got the tickets from AOL and we watched the premiere of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at Symphony (11/17). It releases today worldwide.
Among the six books, this 4th book is my favourite for all its twists and turns. However, I cannot say the same thing about it's movie version - which is the same feeling I get for any book made into a movie. Simply because movie has lot of restrictions which must cater to all groups of audience - with commercial aspects thrown in. A book has a lot lesser bondaries.
Having said that, it's always a treat to watch to a Harry Potter movie on the big screen - and the same goes to this movie. I wont say much on the story - but watchout for the Dragon-fight as part of the Tri-Wizard tournament. It's awesome!
BTW, I have added Michael Crichton's Timeline to my books collection - and reading it now. My project can wait until I finish it - I was simply unable to concentrate on it after submitting the final report. My mentor described it as "pressure rising and dropping" which happenned to him as well just after he submitted his thesis for Ph.D. He suggested taking a break and "Timeline" is the break for me!
